Planning Your Visit

We can’t wait to welcome you to Ankeny Community Theatre. Here are some things to know so you will be sure to enjoy your visit.

Doors open 30 minutes before show time. All seating is general admission on a first-come, first-served basis (except for special seating needs reserved in advance). If you have special seating needs, please make reservations by calling Midwestix at 515-244-2771 (weekdays 9 a.m.-5 p.m.).

​At most shows, concessions (soda, bottled water, coffee, and treats) are available for a free-will donation.

Ticket Policies

• ​While all ticket sales are final, you can exchange your tickets before the performance takes place by calling Midwestix at 515-244-2771 (weekdays 9 a.m.-5 p.m.).
• Anyone who occupies a seat, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
• Senior tickets are available for patrons age 60+. Student tickets are available to students of any age with a current student ID (including college students).

Inclement Weather

If a show is cancelled due to inclement weather, we will make every effort to contact ticket-holders, by email when possible, then by phone. Please make sure we have your current email and phone number in the event we need to contact you. Whenever possible, information is posted on ACT’s website and Facebook page. We try to make weather-related cancellation decisions at least 3 hours before show time. If ACT cancels a show due to weather, guests will be offered exchanges or refunds.
