Show Synopsis:
This smash hit comedy follows the story of Charles Condomine, an ill-tempered novelist desperately seeking content for his next novel. In hopes of gathering some fresh ideas and first-hand experience, Condomine hosts a séance with his wife, a couple of friends, and the eccentric Madame Arcati. When the seance is unexpectedly successful and Charles’ past literally comes back to haunt him nothing ends up going to plan!

Character Breakdown
Casting for 5 female roles and 2 male roles, all are welcome at auditions!

Charles – 30-45 male. A sophisticated, if slightly arrogant author, who instigates a seance in order to collect ideas for his next mystery novel.

Ruth – 25-45 female. Charles’ witty and charming second wife who believes her husband has gone mad when he starts seeing the ghost of Elvira.

Elvira -25-45 female. Charles’ brazen first wife who comes back as a petty and jealous ghost to haunt Charles – he is the only one who can see her.

Madame Arcati 40-80 female. The local eccentric medium who hosts the seance that  brings Elvira back and who must figure out how to get rid of her again.

Edith – 18-25 female. Charles and Ruth’s young housekeeper who is anxious to prove herself (and holds a few secrets).

Dr. Bradman – 35-75 male. A pragmatic doctor who comes to the seance with his wife for a fun evening.
